Behind closed doors, London's most important
officials have spent the last few weeks furiously wringing their hands. The
English capital is about to play host to the world's biggest sporting spectacle,
you see, and, for the best part of June and July, the Great British weather has
been doing its best to make the city look as unappealing as possible. But then,
on Monday, something miraculous happened – the sun came out. And by all
accounts, it's going to stick around for a bit, meaning there's never been a
better time to explore the parks, gardens, rooftops and waterways that make
London one of the best summertime cities in the world. Oh, and look out for
Boris Johnson heaving a massive sigh of relief as you're out and
about.
